_____
**When you have more then one animal staying in the same
run or the same condo, you are receiving a multiple animal
discount. Therefore the AAA discount does not apply for
people with multiple animals staying together since you are
receiving a discount already.**
What is the cost for the playtimes or country walks?

The cost for each playtime or country walk is $3.00. You must
request this when you check in and we can usually
accommodate up to 2 playtimes a day. Some people pick out
certain days while other do playtime every other day and others
request playtime twice a day. If you have multiple pets and want
them to go out together for playtime, the fee is still just $3.00.

***Starting April 1st, 2010 the price for each
playtime or country walk will increase to $4.00.***
-What vaccinations are required?

DOGS: RABIES, DHLPP, & BORDETELLA (ANNUALLY)

CATS: RABIES, & FVRCP

***You must provide us with a copy of your pet's shot records
before we can board/groom them. If you don't have a copy then
you must talk with your vet and sign a form that will allow them to
release the records via fax to our facility. This is due to:
"In accordance with the Veterinary Practice Act regarding the
confidentiality of patient (your pet) medical records, “a written
authorization or other form of waiver executed by the client” is
required in order for any KY Veterinarian Clinic to produce copies
and/or release your pet’s medical records to Keshlyn.
-What should I bring for my pet?

We provide the dishes/bowls for your animals. Please do not bring your pets
bowls unless it is an absolute necessity. A lot of bowls look the same and it makes
it easier to just use our own bowls.

***Please call to find out if we carry your brand of food and if not, please bring
the food so that your dog or cat doesn't get an upset tummy from any diet
changes. It is preferred that you bring your own animals food so that there is no
question or confusion as to why your animals eating habits or stomach issues
might change while staying with us. We do have a refrigerator/freezer as well as
a microwave for anything that requires them.

***If your pets diet includes several different items that all have to be prepared or
if preparing the meal will take extensive time, please make every effort to make it
as easy as possible for us. For example, go ahead and bag out each meal in a
labeled bag. Or go ahead and mix together items that can be mixed without
spoiling. When bringing your own food, we find it easier to bring the food bagged
out for each meal then to bring the whole bag of food. Thanks for your
cooperation with this.***

You are not required to bring anything but you are more than welcome to bring
whatever will make your pet happy and more comfortable while with us such as
bedding, toys, treats, bones, etc. They always have a raised up pallet to lay on to
keep them off of the concrete. If you do not bring any bedding we do provide
blankets or beds.  We recommend bringing an item that has your scent on it such
as a t-shirt that you have been wearing for first time boarders.

***PLEASE!!! Only bring items and bedding that can be washed in a "normal"
washing machine.

Keep in mind that boarding your dog is a lot like taking a child to daycare or a
teenager away from their parents for the first time!! We are not responsible for any
belongings that get lost or destroyed.
How far in advance do I need to make my reservations or appointments?

For holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas we usually book up about 1 month
ahead of time for boarding. For these times, we do require a credit card to hold your
reservation and we do have a cancellation policy.
What happens if my animal gets sick?

When you check in we get a contact number for you while you are away and also the name
of your pets vet.  We will make every attempt to contact you to follow your directions and
also call your pets vet.
If your vet is already closed,  we will use the 24 hour AA emergency clinic on Southland
Drive.
Can I arrange to pick up my dog after hours or when you are closed?

We do not allow pick up during our closed hours. Although the staff is always on the
premises, once the dogs have been bedded down for the night, it is unfair to disturb them
all for the sake of one. Once disturbed, some dogs find it difficult to settle back in.
What is I do not make it back in time to pick my pet up or if I forget to pick my
pet up?

If this happens, we will bed your pet down for the night and assume that you will pick up
your pet the next day. If at the end of the next day we still haven't heard from you, we will
attempt to contact you. We understand that things happen, especially with traveling, so
make the necessary arrangements should your pet need to stay with us longer.
What if my pet requires medication?

We will happily administer medications with no additional charge. However, for any
animal requiring insulin shots, there will be a charge of $2.00 per shot.  WE REQUIRE
YOU TO BRING ENOUGH SYRINGES FOR EACH SHOT REQUIRED. WE WILL NOT REUSE
A NEEDLE TO ADMINISTER INSULIN TO YOUR LOVED ONE.
**Please bring enough medication for the entire stay and please have all instructions
clearly wrote out to make it as easy as possible. WE NEED TO KNOW THE NAME OF THE
MEDICATION, THE DOSAGE, AND THE REASON FOR THE MEDICATION.**
***If your pet has a lot of different medications, please make every effort to make it as
easy as possible for us. For example, bag out the medications  and label for morning and
evening instead of bringing 7 different bottles. Or use one of the pill containers that has
the days of the week and storage areas for morning pills and evening pills. Thank you for
your cooperation.***
***Be sure to label ANY belongings that you bring with
your pet. If the belongings aren't labeled, then we will
mark them with your last name.***
